Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

This page explains what personal data Arxyne Ltd collects when you use the Arxyne platform (arxyne.com and api.arxyne.com), what we do with it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.

Who we are

Controller: Arxyne Ltd Jurisdiction: England & Wales (Companies House registered) Contact: chris@arxyne.com

Arxyne Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We do not have a separate Data Protection Officer; for any data-protection enquiry, write to the contact address above.

What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. Specifically:

  • Analytics data (only with your consent) — pages viewed, approximate location (country-level), browser type, time on page, referring site. Collected through Google Analytics 4 (property G-L2KSD72508) and only after you click Accept analytics on the consent banner. IP addresses are anonymised by GA4 before storage.
  • Platform usage data — when you use the Arxyne platform (CLI or web), we log your API key, the product and solver you selected, simulation parameters, solver outputs (KPIs, gate results, elapsed time), and timestamp. This data is stored on our own backend infrastructure for operational monitoring and debugging. See our terms of use for full details.
  • Server logs — our hosting provider retains short-lived request logs containing IP address, user agent and URL for security and abuse prevention. We do not access or analyse these logs.
  • Email address (demo notifications) — if you choose to receive your simulation results by email, we collect and store your email address alongside your run identifier. We may also use it to contact you about Arxyne product updates and related services. You can opt out at any time (see terms of use).
  • Email correspondence — if you email us (chris@arxyne.com), we keep the message so we can reply and follow up. We do not use marketing trackers, advertising pixels, session replay, or fingerprinting. We do not sell personal data.
  • Analytics — your explicit consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and PECR Reg. 6). You can withdraw consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer; that immediately prevents further analytics loading.
  • Server logs — our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure and available (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Platform usage data — our legitimate interests in operating, monitoring, and improving the service (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You accept the terms of use before accessing the platform.
  • Demo email notifications — your voluntary provision of your email address for a specific service request (receiving results); product communications under the "soft opt-in" rule (PECR Reg. 22(3)) as you have actively engaged with our service. You can opt out at any time.
  • Email correspondence — our legitimate interests in responding to you, or the steps you ask us to take before entering into an agreement (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)).

Cookies

The site sets no cookies until you choose. If you click Accept analytics, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) on the .arxyne.com domain to distinguish unique visitors. Full details, lifetimes, and how to clear them are on the cookie policy.

Where your data is processed

Analytics data is processed by Google LLC (United States) acting as our processor. Google transfers are covered by the EU–US and UK Data Privacy Framework. Server logs sit with GitHub, Inc. (United States), also under Data Privacy Framework. We process emails on UK-based infrastructure.

How long we keep it

  • Analytics data — 14 months (GA4 default).
  • Server logs — retained by the hosting provider per their policy (typically days to weeks).
  • Platform usage logs — retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Email correspondence — kept as long as there is a live conversation or business relationship, then archived for up to 6 years for accounting and legal reasons.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the usual data-subject rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, and portability. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. The contact address for any of the above is in the Who we are section above.

Children

arxyne.com is aimed at engineers and technical users. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, surface a notice on the site. The current version always lives here.
